Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Hop on down to the Gardens and join us for some "eggstra" special Easter fun! On April 4, Bellingrath will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Great Lawn. Thousands of Easter eggs will be scattered across the lawn for children to scurry and collect. There will be special hunts for different age groups as well as prizes, candy, and "eggtivities," which makes this a perfect family outing.
Children are invited to participate in one of four Egg Hunts:
Children with disabilities: A continuous Easter Egg Hunt from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Ages 3 and under: A continuous Easter Egg Hunt from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Ages 4 to 6: Easter Egg Hunt from 10 to 10:15 a.m.
Ages 7 and up: Easter Egg Hunt from 10:15 to 10:30 a.m.
Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your child's Easter Egg Hunt to allow plenty of time to walk from the entrance Building to the Great Lawn. We ask that children bring their own basket or bag to collect eggs and treats.
Games and craft projects to stimulate children's creativity will follow on Live Oak Plaza throughout the morning from 9 a.m. until noon. A professional photographer will be available to take children's portraits with the Easter Bunny in the Gift Shop Greenhouse.
The Easter Egg Hunt is open to the public. Admission is free for members. Regular Gardens admission of $14 for adults and $8 for children ages 5-12 will be charged. Children ages 4 and under are always admitted free.
Families are also invited to join us for the Annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny in the Magnolia Café from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Seating times vary. Please note that reservations are required in advance to attend the breakfast. The Easter Bunny will visit guests at their tables throughout the breakfast. Breakfast will be $10 for adults, $8 for children ages 5-12 and $5 for children 4 and under. You may make your reservations to join us for pancakes, sausages, fruit, and beverages by calling 251-459-8864, or online at bellingrath.org.
Refund policy
Please note that tickets for the Breakfast with the Easter Bunny are non-refundable.
Tickets for the Easter Egg Hunt are non-refundable, but guests may use their ticket on any other day between April 14 and November 25, 2020. If the event is cancelled because of inclement weather on the part of Bellingrath Gardens and Home, guests will receive a full refund of their ticket purchase (this applies only to Easter Egg Hunt tickets).
Both event ticket types are transferable.
