Band Smorgasbord
On March 21, 2020, the Band Parent Organization will be hosting the 64th Annual Smorgasbord. This event is the sole fundraiser of the Heartland Band Program. The Smorgasbord consists of a meal of ethnic German food including Verenike (cottage cheese pockets), Kielke (ham and noodles), Worscht (sausage), Preishke and Plautz (fruit filled pastries), and much more. The evening ends with a concert given by the Senior High Band, Junior High Band and Jazz Band.
The meal will be served from 5-7:30 p.m. and the band concert will begin at 7:45 p.m. Tickets are sold only in advance. Adult tickets are $15 and child tickets (ages 4-12) are $7. You may also purchase tickets by contacting any band member or calling the school office at (402) 723-4434.
