The Don Bosco Prep Theater Arts Department presents their Spring Musical Disney's NEWSIES. Inspired by the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899 in New York City, Newsies tells the tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenaged newsies. When powerful newspaper publishers raise distribution prices at the newsboys expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike for what is right.
