"THE GOOD THIEF as presented by FLY ON THE WALL THEATRE is the finest solo show I've seen all year.  It is impossible to imagine anyone delivering this monologue with greater sensitivity than David Mackett.  THE GOOD THIEF as performed by (David) Mackett and as insightfully directed by Rod Ceballos ismoving in its own intense, quiet way.

"A fine way to pass a Sunday afternoon: a pint of Guinness & some vintage Conor McPherson: THE GOOD THIEF @FlyontheWallTO with a riveting David Mackett."   (Martin Morrow, Canadian Theatre Critics Assoc.)

"Outstanding performance from David Mackettcompelling, entertaining, and poignant throughout, playing all the notes from black to white  (Cate McKim, lifewithmorecowbell.com)

Directed by Rod Ceballos (cited by Now Magazine for Outstanding Direction/2013 Toronto Fringe), THE GOOD THIEF will be presented at Dora Keogh's Irish Pub (141 Danforth Avenue) for 6 performances only.

The Good Thief is Conor McPherson's second play, for which he received the Stewart Parker Award for Playwriting in 1994. He was named by The New York Times as the 'finest playwright of his generation'.  McPherson's latest play, "The Girl from the North Country", had its world premiere at the Old Vic theatre in July 2017 and transferred to the West End in January 2018. Its Canadian Premiere ran Sept 28 - Nov 24, 2019 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre.
