MAY 9: Mother's Day Tree Tour & Afternoon Tea
In honor of mothers, motherhood, and Mother Nature, we start with a tour of our Historic Graveyard. Interpreter Ann shares the interesting trees and history of our cemetery, as well as the history of cemeteries as green spaces, especially in cities, and the importance of trees for Mother Earth and our environment. After the tour, retire to the Parish Hall for an afternoon tea with treats and a lesson on tea etiquette. Bouquet crafting to follow.
