The Poor Theatre presents GOOD THING by Jessica Goldberg
Directed by Will Crouse*
A pregnant drug addict is kept locked in her room to prevent her from doing the speed being cooked outside by her brother-in-law. Two married guidance counselors finally talk face to face about the betrayals they've kept under wraps. And one very lost girl returns home to get back the only person she ever loved. Jessica Goldbergs' enveloping and expansive world is about young people thrown into adulthood trying to make adult decisions and adults acting like children. It questions where we find our answers: because in this play, the guidance counselors might just be the worst people to turn to for advice.
