Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon, two songwriting legends, created some of the most endearing and lasting music of our time. Anne Carpenter and Peter Calo visit their immense library of music.
Peter Calo has been Carly Simons guitar player and backing vocalist, musical director, occasional producer and even song collaborator for the last 20 plus years.
Peter Calo is the musician you meet early in your career and all of a sudden youre 70 years old and youre lucky enough to still be playing and writing with him. This album shows his ability to merge styles and introduce new structures and harmonies with himself singing lead vocals. Always an inspiration and always quite surprising.

Peter Calo's latest CD, Time Machine. Went to #9 on the Top 50 Alternative Album Chart with the single Dont Ever Go Away reaching #6 on the Top 50 Alternative Folk Song Chart. Dont Ever Go Away has gone to #1 on some radio stations.

Anne Carpenter, is a bright star on the Westchester music scene. Anne, a singer/songwriter has had her songs recorded by such artists as Sloan Wainwright. In addition to performing with Peter, Anne plays on a regular basis with her writing partner and jazz guitarist, John Pondel, and their quartet at numerous Westchester and Rockland venues. Along with having a spectacular lead voice, Anne is in much demand for her wonderful blending backing vocals with such performers as KJ Denhert, Peter Calo, Jesse Terry and Steve Wexler and the Top Shelf.
