Couples Cooking 7 : Rob DelBalzo
Join Rob DelBalzo, Yorktown native, owner of the fast casual restaurant Nuttin To It! located in downtown Yorktown Heights, for an evening of culinary education and enjoyment! Together you and your partner will learn how to cook from scratch several healthy and delicious restaurant-quality recipes. Bring a bottle of wine and someone special, and savor the satisfaction of a home-made meal.
Rob's catering career started like most young chefs - learning from family, cooking with family recipes, and maybe some trick from the kitchen of his grandfathers restaurant - Autuns, Elmsford. After college he worked in numerous restaurants in the area including Grandma's, Hanover and Murphy's. In 2009, following a brief four year career in finance, he was back cooking and decided that it would be his future! Since then he has built the Nuttin To It! from a small operation working out of the Elk's Lodge kitchen to a store front restaurant (2012) and catering business working with CBS, HGTV, Discovery, Travel Channel, NBC, Food Network, and many other big networks and production companies. This October he will begin his 3rd consecutive season catering "Celebrity Apprentice All Stars", and Rob is very proud of the fact that Bobby Flay asked for seconds when we made Italian meals on set of Food Networks #1 show "Next Food Network Star" season 8. Come Join Laurie Gershgorn, Chef and owner of Healthy Culinary Creations The class is limited to 12 couples, and online registration is required; $75 per couple.
