Needle Felting Canine Companions
Dogs have evolved to become valued members of our families. For those of us fortunate enough to share our lives with dogs, we know they are unique individuals with personalities all their own. Even if you're a cat person this class will sharpen your felting skills.
The focus of this class will be the methods and techniques to build a dog sculpture that makes you smile. Dog qualities, proportions and breed differences will be discussed, but this is not a dog portrait class. Like walking through a shelter, these dogs will emerge from the wool and surprise us all. Although not a portrait class, you can probably get close to a dog you know. What you learn can be added to your personal skills and with additional practice, you'll gain confidence to create whatever dog you desire.
Bring your felting tools (if you have them), sense of humor and sense of fun. Tools will be available on loan and if you choose to take them home, can be purchased for an additional fee.
Experience helpful, but not necessary. Two Dates available: February 22nd OR February 23rd
Our workshops are appropriate for ages 12+
Please note our Cancellation Policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. No refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we will offer a full refund.
