KNKX Leadership Circle invites you to Inside 'Outsiders': What one city can teach us about homelessness
Homelessness on the West Coast is rising to crisis levels, even at a time of historic economic growth and prosperity. Why? To understand the answer, KNKX Public Radio and The Seattle Times' Project Homeless team spent one year watching homelessness unfold in one city--Olympia, Washington.

Reporting from the streets, under bridges and inside encampments, KNKX and Project Homeless have partnered to produce a new podcast series, 'Outsiders' that tells the story of that year. The first episode launches on January 29. Find it wherever you get your podcasts.

At Inside 'Outsiders': What one city can teach us about homelessness, we'll listen to excerpts from the new podcast and hear from the people who made it. KNKX reporter Will James and The Seattle Times' Project Homeless team members Vianna Davila, Scott Greenstone and Sydney Brownstone will pull back the curtain on their reporting process, answer your questions, and share what they've learned.

Doors open at 6 p.m. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. The event is free to the public. Advance reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome, space permitting.

The 'Outsiders' podcast and event are co-presented by KNKX Public Radio and The Seattle Times' Project Homeless.

A NOTE FROM TOWN HALL REGARDING PARKING AND CONSTRUCTION:
Town Hall no longer has any onsite parking. Please check  https://townhallseattle.org/plan-your-visit/location-directions-parking/ for more information about transportation & parking options near Town Hall.

There is major construction on our block that is not tied to the recent renovations. You might see work happening and equipment staged near the Town Hall building, and unfortunately, we are unable to control their work.
