Sol Horizon with Tropicali Crew A Bob Marley Tribute
February 6, 2020, marks reggae star Bob Marleys 75th birthday, and Arena Theater will present a Bob Marley 75th Birthday Tribute Show with Sol Horizon, featuring local band Tropicali Crew, on Saturday, Feb. 29, at 8:30 p.m., with doors opening at 8 p.m.
Roots, rock, and reggae band Sol Horizon, Northern Californias premier Bob Marley tribute band, will return to Arena Theater by popular demand. Featuring Tuff Lion on rhythm guitar, Sol Horizon will pay tribute to the global voice of reggae music, celebrating Marleys life and legacy by performing some of his greatest music.
Point Arena outfit Tropicali Crew, featuring local favorite Jamison Hodder with Delwin G. and musicians from the Dominican Republic, will warm the house with their brand of positive, high energy dance music, hip hop with a Latin flavor, says the band. Their music includes tropical bass, reggae and Reggaeton. Tropicali Crews latest record, Here and Now, was produced locally by Ian Stinson and Keith Abrams.
