Poetry of Inspired Experience is a three-part workshop aimed at re-seeing and reclaiming the seemingly ordinary, shadowy, and half-forgotten aspects of our lives as poem-worthy sources. We will create new poems full of discovery by exploring our senses and experiences without being tethered to the truth. We will learn techniques to develop a playful writing practice, excavate our personal knowns and unknowns, and generate and share new writing. Each workshop session will consist of discussions, course handouts, creativity boosting activities, and writing prompts.
Tuesdays, April 14, 21, and 28; 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Zoom
This workshop is limited to 10 participants. Two scholarships are available based on financial need. To apply for a scholarship, please email a brief statement (200 words max.) explaining your financial need to email@example.com by March 15.
