LWV Greater Verde Valley - Women Power the Vote Luncheon Celebration
Join the League of Women Voters Greater Verde Valley in the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the League of Women Voters at Poco Diablo Resort in Sedona.
"Women Power the Vote" luncheon celebrates the women who proposed the formation of a "league of women voters to 'finish the fight' and to aid in the reconstruction of the nation." And saw the League of Women Voters as the vehicle for shaping the political role for women.
The event will also highlight the women who have stepped up to run for political office throughout the Verde Valley.
Our luncheon speaker will be Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.
Thursday, February 20 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Poco Diablo Resort in Sedona. Cost of the luncheon is $25.
