FANfit Challenge in Support of Pursuit: Individual Entry

How does FANfit Work?
Sign up for a team, get fit, support the athlete, and compete in the challenge in January 2014!
Pro Agility Combine Test + 2000m Rowing Challenge + 5000m Bike + Sled Pull Challenge + 3000m Run = FANfit Challenge

There are four simple steps involved in the FANfit Challenge:
1) Choose your athlete coach, Day 1 or Day 2 to compete on, and register for the event (either as an individual entry or team of 5). 2) Champion the cause of your coach, but supporting them on their Pursuit micro-funding on their respective www.pursu.it platforms. 3) Get fit and start training for the FANfit Challenge. Follow the calendar at FANfit.ca for special opportunities to get out and exercise in preparation. 4) Come and challenge yourself in the first ever FANfit Challenge (January 25th, 2014)
This event is taking place on January 25th, 2014 at the Canada Games Centre in Halifax, NS. This event uses five different fitness indicators to generate a cumulative fitness score for each participant.
The 5 different exercises involved are: 1) Stationary Bike 2) Sled Pull 3) Rowing Machine 4) Pro Agility Combine 5) Run/Walk
There are two significant lead-up components to the FANfit Challenge:
1) Participants are encouraged to train for the event and take part in a number of different exercise opportunities, various fitness promotional classes, and practice event to prepare for the FANfit Challenge.
2) Participants are also encouraged to champion the cause of the athlete they choose to work with during the FANfit Challenge. Each athlete who'll be serving as a FANfit Coach/Mentor will have a corresponding Pursuit online donation platform established. Participants are encouraged to raise funds for their respective athletes by referring friends, families, co-workers, and anyone interested to the Pursuit donor platform.
This is your chance to challenge yourself physically, be a part of an athlete's incredible journey, and have a lot of fun in the process!
