Poet, writer, translator, and educator Rhina Espaillat and other members of the Powow River Poets present moving and thought-provoking performances through the spoken word - both their own and those of other great female poets.
This year's theme is "Wise, Wonderful and Willful," the lives and work of women who have done daring and unexpected things in many fields, including the arts and sciences; social reform; politics; and others, through the ages from antiquity to the present.
