THE WIZARD OF OZ featuring the Frisch Marionettes
THE WIZARD OF OZ is an American fairy tale! The Frisch Marionettes turn it into an inspiring story about unlocking the potential that exists within each of us! Celebrate America's rich musical heritage as you travel down the Yellow Brick Road with Dorothy to find out why a Lion,Tin Man and Straw Man are all singing the Blues.
Two performance of THE WIZARD OF OZ will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Tickets for groups of 25 or more are $3.00 if purchased before April 26, 2014. They are $4.00 for groups less than 25 if purchased before April 26, 2014. All tickets are $5.00 if purchased after April 25, 2014. Tickets will be available at the door.
Drawing inspiration from the great European troupes such as the Salzburg Marionette Theatre, Frisch endeavors to bring one of the great old-world arts to young, contemporary imaginations. Every aspect of a Frisch Marionette production is designed, handcrafted, created, and recorded in their own workshops. Each and every puppet is hand carved, every costume is sewn and custom tailored for for each character. Frisch takes great pride in our craft, but even more so in excited, twinkling eyes of wonder that surround them at the end of each performance.
