Mixed Media with Lanecia Rouse Tinsley

Join visiting master artist Lanecia Rouse Tinsley for an introduction to mixed media painting. Through the lens of process over product, learn tools and practices to support your unique way of expressing on the canvas in a safe, open and affirming way. Each participant will create one small painting. Open to all levels of experience. Tickets are $25 and class size is limited. About the Artist:
Lanecia Rouse Tinsley is a visiting artist at Creators' Table in Spokane, WA. She is a multidisciplinary artist who specializes in abstract expressionism. Her portfolio also includes a range of work in photography, painting, textile collage, teaching, writing, and speaking. She is the owner and creator of LAR Art Studio and works primarily out of Hardy & Nance Studios in Houston, TX.

In addition to her work through LAR Art Studio, Lanecia contracts with Holy Family HTX as their Artist-In-Residence; works with projectCURATE as Arts Director; and is Co-founder/Co-Creative Director of ImagiNoir Group, an international alliance and think-tank of black activists, artists, writers, scholars and educators..
