Mayacamas Christmas Bird Count for Kids
Modeled after Audubon's annual Christmas Bird Count this program offers a Binocular Boot Camp, introduction to bird identification and field guide use, and over 2 hours on the trails at Safari West, Pepperwood Preserve, and Petrified Forest counting as many cool birds as we can. At the end of the morning, join us for a pizza lunch as we share findings at our bird fiesta! After lunch will visit with some feathered friends from Safari West!!! Families with children 7 years old and up are welcome!
