Dismantling Whiteness Within Workshop Description:
This workshop is building off of the 2019 fall trainings and the January 26th Intensive Review. If you did not attend the 2019 TIDE trainings, please sign up for the January 26th Intensive Review before taking this training.
In this workshop we will create a model learning space where people who receive white privilege in society can reflect on how internalized privilege and oppression affects our behaviors, language and attitudes.
Through intensive reflection, dialog, writing and storytelling we will identify our areas of growth, review the most current thinking on social justice and anti-bias education and commit to engaging in more effective and conscious solidarity work.
