Halfsies
The UpRISE Performance Festival continues with Halfsies, a series of performances, each split between two artists, giving both an opportunity to cross-pollinate audiences, share works in development and engage in post-performance conversation. Each night, Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance previews material from the companys latest work-in-progress: Grove, an intergenerational collage of bones, muscles, heart, and skin examining how solidarity and adaptability inspire unlikely and transformative power.
THURSDAY, February 20th: JACKS/Kelsey Kramer & Lexie Thrash alongside Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance.
FRIDAY, February 21st: Coras 3C Artist-in-Residence Cameron McKinney/Kizuna Dance alongside Shannon Hummel/Cora Dance.
Suggested Admission: $20 or pay-what-you-can ($5 minimum).
