This Communities Rise signature nonprofit seminar covers corporate, state and federal tax exemption status compliance requirements and issues for Washington nonprofits and 501c3 tax-exempt organizations.
Topics will include: Fiduciary duties of directors and officers, Nonprofit corporate governance policies Charitable Solicitation Act, IRS Form 990 reporting, 501c3 tax-exemption issues including: - private inurement and private benefit (executive compensation), - lobbying and political activities, - charitable contribution issues, - unrelated business income and other issues.
