8TH ANNUAL BANH CHUNG COLLECTIVE - SAN FRANCISCO

Come make banh chung with us! We provide all the ingredients and equipment. You show up and join the communal fun. Don't worry if you've never made banh chung before. We'll have experienced banh chung makers to help guide beginners through the steps.

A light lunch will be served and at the end of the event, attendees will get to bring home the banh chung they've made.

Banh chung is a banana leaf-wrapped dumpling made of sticky rice, shallots, mung beans, and pork (or adzuki beans for vegetarians). It's beyond delicious and it's super fun to make in a group.

TICKET LEVELS:
CHOICE - General admission into the event. Access to all necessary ingredients and supplies to make banh chung with guidance from an experienced banh chung maker.

FANCY - General admission into the event plus a take-home banh chung kit. The kit includes: Koda Farm sweet rice, Red Boat fish sauce, mung beans, metal banh chung mold, twine, and instructions for how to make banh chung at home.

EXTRA FANCY - General admission into the event plus a take-home banh chung kit and a limited-edition Lunar New Year parlor game, Bau Cua Ca Ngua. Game set includes a silkscreened canvas board, 3 dice, and instructions.
