SkillSwap: How Money REALLY Works!
SkillSwap is a barter-based education series featuring workshops on a variety of topics. There is no monetary registration fee; instead, each instructor suggests items or services they will accept in exchange for class participation.
Our volunteer instructors prepare based on how many people sign up, so PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU WILL ACTUALLY ATTEND.
Class Description
How money works - all the rules were not taught in school, that the banks and insurance companies know but dont tell us about, such as the Rule of 72, power of compound interest, how your life insurance really works, retirement planning and checklist, how to save money in ways, etc. Learn how to get a complimentary financial needs analysis.
Age restrictions
16 and up, please

About the Instructor
Julie Bortner is a mother of three who used to be an athletic trainer, but is currently a regional manager in financial services. She has almost 19 years of experience in that field, with most financial licenses under her belt. She has helped many families become financially independent, properly protected, and debt free.
