SkillSwap: Social Media Marketing Secrets for Small Businesses (+ How to Beat Up an Advertising Salesman)
SkillSwap is a barter-based education series featuring workshops on a variety of topics. There is no monetary registration fee; instead, each instructor suggests items or services they will accept in exchange for class participation.
Our volunteer instructors prepare based on how many people sign up, so PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP IF YOU WILL ACTUALLY ATTEND.
Class Description
Learn how to stop wasting time with ineffective social media marketing by somebody who has not only marketed through Facebook and elsewhere, but actually created an entire movement from them. Stop making posts that go nowhere, photos that get no responses and clutter up peoples timelines, and that simply waste your time. If youre going to use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other outlets to promote your small business, there are up-to-date techniques that work better than others. This presentation is especially helpful to small retail and service businesses.
EXTRA: How to Beat Up an Advertising Salesman. In the final 15 minutes of the seminar, Shane Speal will divulge his secrets learned while working as a radio sales rep. Find out the truth about rate cards, special sales, and how to get freebies when negotiating an advertising contract.
