As You Like It
The Hoboken Children's Theater Company is thrilled to open it's new theater with a ravishing new musical adaptation of Shakespeares classic story of chance encounters and self-discovery. Adapted by Shaina Taub and Laurie Woolery with Music and Lyrics by Shaina Taub.
Forced from their homes, Orlando, Duke Senior, his daughter Rosalind and niece Celia, escape to the Forest of Arden, a fantastical place of transformation, where all are welcomed and embraced. Lost amidst the trees, the refugees find community and acceptance under the stars.
Featuring an original folk-pop score, As You Like It is appropriate for all audiences over 8 and a wonderful way to be introduced to the language of Shakespeare. Fall under loves spell with this magical story!
Running time approximately 80 minutes, no intermission.
