In 1955 a 14 year old boy left Chicago to visit his relatives in Mississippi. He did not come back alive. This is his story.

American Theater Group, which most recently brought acclaimed productions of "The Bridges of Madison County" and "Tell Them Im Still Young," starring Andre Braugher and Michelle Pawk, to New Jersey, is thrilled to present this New Jersey premiere which tells the story of 14-year-old Emmett Till, whose murder helped to ignite the civil rights movement.

Written by Leo Schwartz and DC Cathro, and directed by Cezar Williams with choreography by Tiffany Rea-Fisher, this stirring and powerful production will be staged at South Orange's historic St. Andrew's Church.

Audience is invited to special talk-backs after the following performances:

- Thursday, March 5th: audience is invited to a not-to-be-missed talk-back with special guest Rev. Wheeler Parker, Jr. Rev. Parker is Emmett's cousin who was with him during that fateful visit to Mississippi, and is the last living witness to these events.
