Music and Musicality with Bazuka Joe
Taught by Bazuka Joe of The Stage Door Johnnies (Burlesque Hall of Fame Best Group 2011) Music and Musicality covers the basic concepts of determining counts, graphing musical arcs, and choosing appropriate selections for your act. You'll then move into more theoretical and practical concepts like hearing beats and accents, choosing the best moments for reveals, playing with and against the tempo and construction of a song, and pacing reveals. Get a leg up over other performers by understanding how important your music and routine effectively work together to create a stellar act! (90 minutes) Friday, September 20th. 4pm
