Guided Beer and Cheese Tasting with Renowned Food Writer Janet Fletcher
Join Slow Food Boulder County for a unique happy hour experience with Janet Fletcher, author of the new book Cheese and Beer. Fletcher will guide you through the fundamentals of creating the perfect pairing, by offering a tasting of Upslope beers paired with thoughtfully selected cheeses from Cured. Included in the ticket price is a copy of Cheese and Beer so that you will be able to further your study of the art of pairing at home.

Janet Fletcher is the author or co-author of more than two dozen books on food and beverage, including Cheese & Beer, Cheese & Wine and The Cheese Course. She writes a weekly cheese column for the San Francisco Chronicle and the "Cheese Focus" column for Specialty Food magazine. She is the recipient of three James Beard Awards and the IACP Bert Greene Award and is a member of the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers. Her writing on wine and food has appeared in numerous national magazines, including Saveur, Bon Appétit, Fine Cooking and Food & Wine.
