Exam Prep for the Cicerone(r) Program Certification Exams
This is a full day exam review session with lunch (and a beer) from the Hopleaf lunch menu.
We will start with a guided 'off-flavor' tasting and then go into reviewing each section of the Certified exam syllabus. This includes: -Keeping and Serving Beer -Beer Styles -Beer Flavor and Evaluation -Beer Ingredients -Brewing process -Food Pairing
There is a lot of information to know for this exam and thus this is meant to be a review and shouldn't be your only preparation. We will be glad to help guide you with resources if you'd like additional help before or after the review.
This class is also great for the ultra enthusiast that wants an in depth introduction to the Cicerone(r) Certification Program or the world of professional beer in general. This class is a great introduction for individuals looking to start their education in the Cicerone(r) program as well.
Your primary instructor, Drew Larson, is a Certified Cicerone(r) and proctor for the program, and he is preparing for the Master Cicerone(r) exam. He is also the Beverage Director at the Hopleaf and the founding owner of Leaders Beverage Consulting.
Review Schedule -We will start at 9am sharp with a guided off-flavor tasting. -We will provide lunch and a beer from the Hopleaf lunch menu. -Class will conclude at 6pm (8 hours of instruction and 1 hour lunch).
No refunds on cancellations within a week of the class (After Oct 5th). However, we will work with you to get your seat purchased.
You must be 21 years old to attend. Identification will be checked.
