"Shoelaces" Mobile Jewish Film Festival
Wednesday, Jan 22nd at 7 pm, our final film at USA will be Shoelaces that was up for 8 Israeli academy awards and won Best Narrative Film at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival. This is a touching and moving film about a father and his adult special needs son, whom he abandoned when he was a young boy. Now Gadi(60) needs a kidney transplant and his son wants to donate his kidney, but the committee forbids it. This is an uplifting family drama that will touch you. A dessert reception follows.
