Suitable for beginners - no prior experience necessary.
The New Year can be a time where we think about all of the things we want to change and we can lose sight of what we have in our lives that we should be grateful for.
Join me at the Kailash Centre, a non profit centre which donates all funds to the Tibetan Trust for this Heart Opening Gratitude Workshop. In this wonderful setting close to Regents Park there is a really special energy and the centre and its studios have been blessed by the Dalai Lama himself. You will leave this workshop with a new found appreciation for all that you are and all that you have. Opening the door for new opportunities.
"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. It turns problems into gifts, failures into successes, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. It can turn an existence into a real life, and disconnected situations into important and beneficial lessons. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." Melody Beattie
In this workshop we will harness the power of the Full Moon and work through a Heart Opening Kundalini yoga sequence to allow the energy to flow into our heart chakra. We will then enjoy a healing gong bath and finish the practice with a meditation to open us up to appreciating all that we have.
After a short break I will facilitate a session where we can draw on the energy created in the yoga, to produce a vision board to represent what we are grateful for. Creating a vision board is really special way to help us clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on specific things. It's a great way to reframe how we view our lives. Having this board in your home will help you to always appreciate what you have and focus on the positives, a regular gratitude practice can be one the foundations of a happy and fulfilled life.
