Community Garden Harvest Tour
Pierce Conservation District partners with Duchess of Downtown Tours to present this unique community garden harvest tour.
See what fellow green thumbs are up to while we explore community gardens in the South Sound!
These bumping spaces in the community serve as a source of bonding and neighborhood sustainability through the act of gardening!
Tour will begin at Wright Park (on the corner of G St and 6th Avenue.
This tour we will be visiting:
~Gallucci Garden South 14th and South G, Tacoma
~Barangay Community Services Community Garden South 46th and South Hosmer, Tacoma
~South 40th Street Community Garden South 40th and South Cedar, Tacoma
~Boze Community Garden East 68th and East L, Tacoma
~Sumner Community Farm 12324 Valley Avenue East, Sumner
Refreshments will be available at the conclusion of the tour.
We will be joined by a local celebrity tour guide~to be announced~
This event is FREE and family friendly!
