STORIES WE TELL
(2012) dir Sarah Polley [108 min]
Director Sarah Polley looks into her past and excavates layers of myth and memory to find the elusive truth at the core of a family of storytellers.
"This wondrous, absorbing little picture covers a great deal of winding meta-territory, reflecting on the ways in which a single family's story can be told or maybe, more accurately, examining the idea that there's no such thing as a 'single story.'" Stephanie Zacharek, The Village Voice
