Trauma Informed Practices
We have a great workshop for you, facilitated by Sound Discipline. This workshop will help to inform your work to recognize how stress and trauma manifest itself in youth. Learn different techniques to de-escalate situations with compassion. Participants will learn the impact of trauma and insecure attachment on developing brains and gain tools for building childrens resiliency to build positive relationships. In this workshop you will learn: Participants will learn: 1. Gain an understanding of the neuroscience behind trauma and attachment; 2. Enhance their "radar" about trauma and attachment; 3. Gain three tools to build relationships and improve outcomes for youth exposed to trauma and stress.
