"Plaid Tidings" is an enormously entertaining follow-up to the musical "Forever Plaid", tied up in a nifty package with a big Christmas bow on top! Filled with Christmas standards as well as original songs, the boys are back to do their Christmas Special. At first, Francis, Jinx, Smudge and Sparky aren't sure why they've returned to Earth for another posthumous performance, but a phone call from the heavenly Rosemary Clooney lets them know that they're needed to put a little harmony into a discordant world. This truly "heaven-sent" holiday treat will lift audiences' spirits and fill them with nostalgia for a bygone era of classic music sung in perfect harmony. Rated PG.
Performances are Thursday, December 12, Friday, December 13, and Saturday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, December 15 at 2:00 p.m.; Thursday, December 19, Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m.**** and Sunday, December 22 at 2:00 p.m.
****NOTE: The performance on Saturday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. will be interpreted for the deaf and hard of hearing. All are welcome!
All performances are in an intimate, cabaret-style theatre, with refreshments including beer, wine & specialty cocktails available before & during all shows.
