Shibari 102: Taking Your Rope Bondage Further

Youve got some basic Japanese-style rope bondage skills under your beltcome learn to make it hotter, more connective, and more beautiful with Seattle Shibari!

In this three-hour workshop, we'll explore:
* Ichinawa (Rope play using only a single piece of rope)
* Save Your Shoulders! Restraining ties that don't put the hands behind the back
* Hishi Nawa: creating beautiful diamond patterns in different ties and harnesses
* Skills for Tying Your Partner Fluidly & Smoothly

We'll examine also anatomy & safety issues associated with rope bondage, and discuss the important issues of consent & negotiation.

Prerequisite: Participants should be able to tie a secure, reliable, non-collapsing single-column tie.

This workshop is appropriate for all genders, sexual orientations, and body types! Please wear clothing suitable for tying and being tied in. No nudity, please. A yoga mat or towel will also be nice for sitting on the floor.

Rope will be available to use at no charge during the workshop! Already have some rope? By all means, bring it.

Class size will be limited to 8 duos/couples. Early registration is highly recommended.
