"That Horrible In-Between Place"
Ann Marie Productions presents a new play by Gabrielle Gomez: Stuck in a hospital waiting room, the Girlfriend and Best Friend of a crash victim discuss love, anger, loss, and jealousy. As they wait for answers, the two search for reasons to stay and reasons to leave.
Ann Marie Productions was put together by Gabrielle Gomez and Claire Rice with the purpose of producing original work by new playwrights, fostering young emerging directors, and bridging the gap between the college theatrical experience and the professional world for artists in all fields of theatre. For our first season we are working exclusively out of El Teatro de la Esperanza because it is a space that encourages new works, minority voices in theatre, and theatre that challenges audiences without alienating them.
