"Bits and Pieces" with Austin Pendleton and Barbara Bleier
Critically acclaimed performers, Austin Pendleton and Barbara Bleier, return to NY's Pangea nightclub in the East Village with a brand new show, "Bits and Pieces." The show will play Tuesdays, January 7th, 14th and 21st, 2020. 7:00 p.m.
Music Director: Paul Greenwood. Director: Barbara Maier Gustern. Special guest: Richard Maltby, Jr.

Like life, itself, this show is made up of bits and pieces of song and stories that sometimes seem to fit together, and sometimes seem random. There will be songs that we've never done before, and songs that we've done and love...sometimes a leap into the unknown, and sometimes a roar down memory lane! And, of course, there will be the odd story. After all, it, it's these random moments that create the arc of our lives.

AUSTIN PENDLETON is an actor, director, playwright and teacher of acting, who was recently seen onstage as the King in Lear at The Secret Theatre, a critically lauded run. Pendletons Broadway debut was as Motel the Tailor in the original production of Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Jerome Robbins and starring Zero Mostel. "Late Nights in Smoky Bars" ......charming and heartfelt moments." Stage Buddy, NY

"Framed like a casual meeting at a club to reminisce and sing, Bleier and Pendletons performance (directed by Barbara Maier) is a paean to friendship, the passage of time and the joy of years of performing together"... Theatrepizzazz, NY

"These are master performers full of wisdom, experience, humor, and chops. Far from morbid in the medical sense, they're full of piss, vinegar, and maybe even a little jalapeƱo pepper. If you're older, go and relate. If youre young, go and learn at their feet."....The Villager, NY
