Jesse Dayton House Concert:

Roots Hoot House Concerts presents modern day Texas troubadour Jesse Dayton on Saturday, February 8, for a solo acoustic show. We've been fans of Jesse's since the early '90s and our first trip to Austin where we caught him at the Continental Club in the then seedy South Austin playing with a group called Alamo Jets. His solo stuff started coming soon after and we've been locked in and he on our short list since we concocted this whole Roots Hoot thing in the early aughts.
After releasing 11 studio albums and an EP as a solo artist, Jesses new album, Mixtape Volume 1, is a series of 10 cover songs he thoroughly makes his own, reinterpreting and revisiting them in a brand-new way. Expect some of that and plenty of back catalogue when he makes his way here. Doors are at 7 pm and show time PROMPTLY at 7:30. A show not to be missed! This is a BYOB/ lite bite show.
