Sri Lankan Bagel Brunch with Amanda Daly and Mary Anne Mohanraj

Join Amanda Daly and local cookbook author of A Feast of Serendib, Mary Anne Mohanraj, for a unique brunch experience, SUNDAY NOVEMBER 17th at 10am. We'll offer a variety of bagels and cream cheeses paired with an array of Sri Lankan accompaniments, mimosas, coffee and homemade chai. You'll get a fabulous meal and a chance to hear more about two very different kinds of cuisine, and learn a little about what it takes to start up a small business -- highs, lows, and everything in between! And if you feel like being hands-on, Mary Anne will be happy to teach you how to make your own homemade curry powder.

A great opportunity to hear from and support two local women entrepreneurs -- Amanda is opening a bagel shop, The Daly Bagel, and Mary Anne is launching a Sri Lankan cookbook, A Feast of Serendib. Discounted cookbooks will be available for sale, and every attendee will get a few recipes and some homemade Sri Lankan curry powder to take away.
