Escena Sur: Reading Series. Latin America, Spain, Latino/a US.
Escena Sur Reading series: Latin America, Spain and Latino/a USA, is a public staged reading series, in a mini-festival format, that will be presented at Theater 54 at Shetler Studios located at 244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor, between 8th Avenue and Broadway in Manhattan. On December 12th, at 7:30 pm., we will be presenting Memorama by Mario Cantú Toscano, translated by Carmen Rivera and directed by Stefania Burbarella. On December 13th, at 7:30 pm., Cuzco by Victor Sánchez Rodriguez, translated by William Gregory and directed by Kristin Heckler. On December 14th, at 7:30 pm., Honduras by Sarah Farrington, performed in Spanish by Valeria Avina and translated by Walter Krochmal, and on December 15th, at 5:00 pm., Dos Amores y un Bicho by Gustavo Ott, translated by Heather L McKay and directed by Pablo Andrade.
Tickets online for each reading will be only $8.00 and at the door $12.00
