Tom Eure and Amelia Osborne
We are fortunate, indeed, to have Tom Eure and Amelia Osborne perform for us at Piedmont Unitarian Universalist Church. This musical duo of singer/ songwriters offers up a heartfelt fusion of Folk, Celtic, and Appalachian influences. Their music is so steeped in tradition that No Depression Magazine described it as ... genuine artist(s) pouring old wine into new bottles and making listeners believe. The pair tour constantly playing top venues as well as festivals and Highland games across the United States. As inspired multi-instrumentalists Tom & Amelia swirl together fiddle, banjo, bodhrán, mandolin, guitar, and rousing vocal harmonies, painting a musical picture that is an uplifting breath of fresh air. The pair draws on their many musical influences to create a sound that is new yet familiar, risky yet comfortable, and has that rare ability to shine a light on the heart.
Tom and Amelia will bless our venue on Saturday, February 8th. Dinner and conversation at 6:00 PM, with the concert to follow. The evening will include great food, great music by artful performers in a beautiful setting, and great conversation with mutual lovers of acoustic music. Tickets include dinner, and there will be a cash bar for those interested in beer or wine.
