BREAKING THE ICE
ICE Music Dept. presents BREAKING THE ICE, a series of concerts performed by ICE high school students in the most famous New York City jazz clubs and rock venues. ICE (Institute for Collaborative Education) is a public school in the East Village. The students will perform arrangements of some of the most famous jazz standards and they will also perform original songs with eclectic influences from Free Jazz to Funk, from Swing to Hip-Hop.
