Pipeline-Collective offers something special this holiday season, with "A Very Special Live Staged Reading of The Star Wars Holiday Special: LIVE, on Stage... and SPECIAL!" A satirical yet terribly affectionate adaptation of the ill-fated 1978 television event "The Star Wars Holiday Special," Pipelines fun spin on holiday programming is also a one-night-only charitable event, with all proceeds to be donated to the 501st Legion Make-A-Wish Endowment Fund.

"A Very Special Live Staged Reading of The Star Wars Holiday Special: LIVE, on Stage... and SPECIAL!" is inspired by an infamous piece of Star Wars fandom, a variety special that aired only once on CBS stations in November of 1978. That telefilm followed fan favorites Han Solo and Chewbacca as they raced the Millennium Falcon to the Wookie home planet to celebrate the in-universe holiday Life Day. "A Very Special Live Staged Reading of The Star Wars Holiday Special: LIVE, on Stage... and SPECIAL!" retains the narrative of the intergalactic television special while incorporating earthly holiday music.

This event is recommended for ages 10 and up.
