On Friday, December 13, at 7:00 p.m., the Santa Monica High School Choral Music department will present the 15th annual "Motus Perpetuus," a beautiful and truly unique Winter Choral Concert of Perpetual Motion. During this concert, students sing and move throughout Barnum Hall, and applause is held until after the very last piece, so the music's motion can flow and continue without interruption. The result is a stunning concert experience! Choir alumni are invited to sing the Hallelujah Chorus and the Hymn of Praise on stage.
Due to the specific nature of this concert and its transitions from song to song without applause breaks in between, this concert is most appropriate for an audience age 10 and over. If you must bring a younger child with you, it is recommended that you choose a seat toward the back close to an aisle, in order to more easily access the exits, should your child need a break.

Updates as of 3:30pm Dec. 11th *** 150 seats in the upper balcony have been opened up for sale. Keep in mind that the balcony is only accessible by stairs - there is no elevator.

WILL CALL ticket pickup will open in front of Barnum Hall at 6:00pm. Any available tickets turned in for resale will be sold at the door.
We encourage you to arrive early for parking and seating.
Doors will open at 6:30pm and the concert will begin promptly at 7:00pm.
