Get Yourself Painting - Daytime 2019/20
Do you love to paint? Are you always up for a paint-night and feeling eager or ready to paint your own ideas? This class is for those of you who want guidance and support moving to another level with YOUR painting or drawing. CCA Artist-in-Residence, Trina Teele will teach basic concepts of drawing, composition, color, value and light and provide guidance as you move forward with your individual projects.
For those of you who are wanting to take your next step using your own supplies and ideas these classes are like having a (group) private lesson. Youll get direction from me/Trina and you will be inspired by your fellow classmates. A win win! Its a motivating way to schedule time to paint (or draw) for yourself, get tips and advice and your specific questions answered.
Thursdays 12:30-2:30 PM, December 5, 12, 19 January 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 - 8 sessions, $250.

Recommended Supply list:
-Bring your idea! (photo, still life, or concept, or maybe a favorite famous painting)
-ACRYLIC PAINT SET (E.G. Basics by Liquitex) To include one Red, Yellow, Blue, Black and White tube of paint. I find it is best to limit your palette when you begin. Having too many colors can be confusing.
-BRUSH SET As a painter, you will try all sorts of brushes but to begin you will need an assortment of at least 3 brushes including 2 sizes of flats and a round.
-Stretched Canvas or Canvas Board
-Sketchbook and pencils or charcoal & kneaded eraser
