Reichian Breathwork
This guided 2 hour session will use a style of Breathwork and Release developed from the work of Wilhelm Reich. The session will start with some dancing to loosen up the body and let go of the day. Then you lie down on a mat, fully clothed, and I guide you through a body relaxation exercise, to bring more awareness into the body.
After that you begin deep, circular conscious breathing for 20 minutes or so, increasing the energetic charge in your body.
At some point I will guide you to gently tilt your neck back, opening up the throat area, and to allow natural sound to come out. You may be surprised at how deep a release can come from this.
This stage is followed by relaxation and then the session will close.
Please wear loose clothing and it can be good to bring a blanket, as sometimes in this practice your body feels colder than it actually is.
