William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing
Barclay College Theatre will present William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing December 6th and 7th at the Ross-Ellis Center for Arts and Ministry in Haviland, KS. The show will begin each night at 7:00 pm. This will not be like any Shakespeare you have seen before. Director Randi Shetley is adding a new twist to this classic play. "At the beginning of Shakespeare's script, men are returning from war. Instead of setting the play in the 1600s, our setting is 1945, just after the end of WWII. Our production has great 1940s costumes, a live jazz band and swing dancing" Shetley says. "This is one of my favorite Shakespeare plays. It is a comedy, so even those who say they don't like Shakespeare will love this hilarious production."
