The Do-Rights Burlesque and comedians Geneva Rust-Orta and Natasha Collier
The Do-Rights Burlesque a Neo-Burlesque dance troupe based out of Santa Cruz established in 2010. Our goal is to discover, accept, and embrace the joys of human sexuality. We are dedicated to performing our best, inspiring our audiences to love freely, and see that beauty isn't defined by a mold - it comes in all shapes, colors, sizes and varieties. We pride ourselves in being a feminist troupe that supports people regardless of age, race, gender identification, or sexual orientation.
Geneva Rust-Orta is an Oakland-based stand up comic. She was recently in the Santa Cruz Comedy Festival, one of her favorite places to be! She has performed all over the Bay Area including Cobbs, SF Punchline, SF Sketchfest and Comedy Central's Bay Area Clusterfest Showcase. She helps produce Resistance is Fertile, a monthly comedy show that features the best female comedy talent in San Francisco.
Natasha Collier is a stand-up comedian and student at UC Santa Cruz. Originally from Los Angeles, and currently based in Santa Cruz, Natasha started stand up at the age of 19, and performs regularly around Santa Cruz and the bay area. She was recently in the Santa Cruz Comedy Festival and Savage Henry Humboldt Comedy Festival. She is the winner of the 2019 Pink Flamingo Theatre Comedy Contest and the 2009 Culver City District Spelling Bee. Natasha is double jointed in her right middle finger and can wiggle her ears, kind of.
