Wally & His Lover Boys

Michael Mizerany (author of The Big D) premieres his new play Wally & His Lover Boys*, an outrageous comedy about growing older, dating younger and surviving both.

After two divorces, Wally re-enters the dating world with the help of his acerbic best friend Charlie and his needy son, Colby. He meets, marries and divorces paleontologist turned stripper Mayfield, who in turn begins dating Colby while Wally finds love again with rent boi Bart. To add to the mix, Barts rurally-minded Aunt Patty pays a visit to share her backwoods colloquialisms and not-so-understated fashion sense.

Wally & His Lover Boys features a cast of notable San Diego actors including Markus Rodrigues, Jake Bevill, Hunter Brown, Juan Hernandez and Claudette Santiago as Aunt Patty.
